Z32 ECU questions

Hello.
Is there a difference wich z32 ECU i will get to use in my ECR33 auto/manual tyrbo/na? Or as far as we program the board with ECR33 in file this things doesnt matter?

doesnt matter. all the 8 bit ones are basically the same. just the ROM image on the chip changes

There ara alot of ECU's part numbers on Z32.
Can you specify wich are good for ECR33 on Z32 Ecu setup?

yes there are, JDM, EDM, USDM, A/T or M/T, NA or Turbo, Califonia/Federal etc and year cause the variations in part#

However once we replace the chip with the R33 ROM image doesnt matter on the ECU hardware

However stick with the 8 bit version (1990-1993)

Can you specify known Part number mask?

Because sometimes its hard to findout CPU year and only ECU part number is known

4*P1* ?
Or only 41P*

how can all 41's be good if some of them are pre 1990

any of these are type 2. doesnt matter if earlier than 1990

so any ecu with

30Pxx

on the front will work in a 33 gtst then with some wire's swapped around and the type 2 board

Use type 2 board where possible, it has more maps available and a few of the guys are having issues with Type 3 (TTPmin doesnt work as it should)
