Update matt, I've had the car running briefly with no fault codes but doesn't want to revover 3k?
I've also noticed when rotating the distributor with the ignition on at times it'll cut off the engine check light and prime the fuel pump?
An alters the K value?

I'm at wits end here I'm beginning to think the installation was very poorly done.
I'm at the stage if I could maybe send it over to you for testing and then that way we can rule out any faults on both the boards.
If you can could you pm me with further info regarding sending it over to you.

One more thing should the timing reading be 5 prior to cranking the car.

Cheers

Sorry when the engine started
I was hit with a communications error and couldn't connect to the car at all when running.

If you rotate the distributor, the ECU thinks that the engine is starting to run. When it thinks that it will cut off check engine light and start priming fuel.

If you can connect to the ECU when engine not running then board installation would be fine. If you get communications errors when running then you are getting electrical noise interfering with communications
