Possible to change colors of the eGuages? Pics of my int!!

Post by amreboot »

Matt,
I know this sounds somewhat ridiculous but is it possible to change the colors of the eguages to orange to match my z31 interior?

Here is what its like now...

heh, thanks for replies!

I know the interior mostly looks dirty and it is! Plus a camera's flash always exposes everything!

Secondly, I made this mount myself. I got the idea from an eBay seller.

Here are the pics of the setup.

All galvanized piping with that plexiglass top. I got this all at Home Depot for about $20. It looks like crap until you get that flex tube to cover it all up.

I hope Matt can write me some kind of patch or something that can change the colors of the gauges so that everything matches. I would be in Z heaven!

hey mat have you seen the datascan dashboard.. looks like thy ripped of the GTR R35 gauges displays.. but I like how it has the individual gauge and the trace for it under each gauge..

and AM reboot sure you have enough gauges... :P I think you need some more... altleast one mechanical gauge for every gauge in nistune..

Hmm. Personally i prefer datascan 1 gauges and i think they are more easily readable. The only downside of them is color selection - red on blue is not an easily perceivable comination. Making their needles a bit wider and needles', scales' and digits' colors selectable through standard windows palette interface can improve their ergonomic qualities and would be a nice feature to have

this has taken a bit longer than i thought. I've had a lot of crap going on over the last few months so there hasnt been much in the way of software updates that I would have liked to do

just finished this up tonight, after combining the third party colour selection window into my own and it worked this time

Heh, very cool!

Is this going to be on the next release of Nistune? When are you expecting an updated download?
