My CA18DET has been timed to 15deg at 850rpm however when the throttle is opened and revs start to build, the timing goes from 15deg to 5 deg then at around 3000rpm comes back up 20 deg which is what I expect.
In spite of changing the main timing maps, this seems to be a persistent characteristic. Does anyone know the address of the table that controls timing between 1000 - 3000rpm?
I know this topic has been discussed a number of times before however in spite of my searching, I can't find a thread that reports the answer or the table address.
The warm-up timing is fine, it’s just the low revs area between 1000 - 3000 rpm.
Any help/comments would be appreciated.
