So i had this vh45de in my s14 with a super charger and heard that a porsche cayenne intake manifold had the same port spacing.
So i went from this...
made these
ended up with this..
and here are the results and gains from the stock intake to the porsche intake... The power loss after 6000rpm is due to the supercharger belt slipping, i would except it to make 450-470whp up top once the belt is corrected. But no need to wonder because I'm correcting the issue now and will be back to the dyno asap to prove it. Other than that great gains everywhere in the power band about 3000 rpm
Before and after
Heres is the peak gains....

the area under the graph has indeed improved a fair amount.
was it just with the intake changes or the tune was tweeked too ?

the tune was spot on before.. it was basically the intake and fuel.

Nice result, one of my customers wanted to charge his VH45 without the vortech lag, he went with a twin screw charger at 5psi. 272rwkw (364rwhp) and 481nm (355 ftlbs) was the result.

have you checked valve springs? as its very common to get valve float and is what i may suspect its close to happening with the one we nistuned today. it has some belt slip but i left it there as im worried about the valve springs as stock they only have 54lbs seat pressure.
