Listening to knock

Post by dontfeelcold »

I came across this.

https://uprev.com/documentation/Knock%2 ... Device.pdf

It mentions instead of listening to headphones you can watch the knock on some free software.

Could the signal coming put of the headphone jack somehow be fed into nistune? I can imagine it would be quite handy.

This has been discussed before. I've also spoken to a company working on knock detection devices about this. The problem is differentiating between false positives and actual knock

Using headphones and a trained ear is always a lot more reliable

I found some here the other day which I'm looking at getting
