[GTI-R ECU: 54C00] Remove speedlimit possible?

The Japanese GTI-R ECU "54C00" is limited at 112 mp/h (180 km/h).

Is it possible to remove/change this limit with NIStune?

Some say it isn't possible. Even when you change the "Speed Limit 1" and "Speed Limit 2" maps, it stays 180 km/h.
Is that true?

Those are the only speed limits I know of in the ECU. There is no reason for it not to work, but I've not tried this one out on the bench
