Rescaling Z32 MAF map for SR20DET

Post by xavgo2 »

I just installed a Z32 MAF on my SR20DET red top (stock internals, stock boost, ISR RS3871 turbo.

I went for a quick drive and I noticed that when at WOT, full boost in 3rd, the ECU is only accessing the middle of the fuel map. The AFR stayed above 14 the whole time. It even went over 15 a few times. Not safe enough for a logging run.

How do I rescale the MAF to bring the load values up. I saw the VQ function generator, but it doesn't have the Z32 profile.

Please read the manual - Software Users Manual and the tuning manuals on the Nistune website

Operations > Resize MAF is what you need

After this
1. Feature pack ECU: Adjust K constant until the load reaches the second last column (offset fueling adjustments using Total injection mutiplier such that stoich on cruise, with 0% trims)

2. Standard ECU: Adjust K constant for fueling until stoich on cruise, adjust TP load scales for fuel and timing so the entire map is accessed
