Hello all,
Part of my r34 gtt upgrades I have installed an r35 maf in a 3in tube. I have extended the wires from factory location to between the intercooler and throttle body as this is where the maf is located. I have the new extended loom wrapped all the way in loom tape.
I connected to NIStune today and was immediately greeted with a warning
“MAF voltage exceeded 5V! Check MAF is not reaching maximum capacity” It was just over 5v
I have used this picture below to re wire the MAF. This is going to sound ignorantly retarded but I couldn’t check the wiring or take a photo as I had to leave in a rush…
Basically I’m just looking for a head ups for when I go back to the car, does this mean I have the wires pinned wrong or maybe a sensor issue ? genuine nissan used maf from breakers.
Thanks.

Re: MAF issue 5v @ ignition
Check the voltage reported on the MAF channel in the software. See what that says. It should match the shielded signal wire against the ground wire at the MAF sensor
Re: MAF issue 5v @ ignition
Hi, I forgot to update this but I had the two signal wires wired the wrong way. All good now after corrected wiring.
Thanks
