Hi Matt and the forum team.
I have been have issues tuning my Type 1 board. First off at 0.5 bar boost the car would run into a brick wall at around 3000Rpm after logging some data supplied below it seemed my Stock Ca18det AFM was maxing at 5.1 volts (NIStune_2008-06-14_1459_53.csv)
I have now installed the "Pathfinder/Maxima" AFM using the J30 VQ and changing the K value to get my fueling curve correct at 14.7 this AFM is no where close to maxing only getting around 3.1 volts but the car still will not rev past 3000 Rpm it seems to misfire and sputter , I have attached the logs below please can you help. (NIStune_2008-06-15_1652_24.csv)
I have also attached my ECU .bin

I have looked through all the data the car still runs on the old AFM and Mines ECU.
Could I have wired the AFM in incorrectly? I do get voltage from it
The TP does not seems to be Maxing also does the "TTP Pulsewidth Max" apply to the whole RPM range or just the narrow band at Idle? Because it does get to around 10m/s but that seems to be 50% duty cycle. I really need to get this car running please any help would be great

The TTPMIN/MAX on the CA18 is different to other vehicles. Those scalings do not look correct. I will investigate. Someone else mentioned that to me this morning so I'll get back on this soon
Going to check the RPM range also against hardware maptrace (note to self - will look at that tonight)
I'll have a look at your logs soon. I found a pathfinder AFM VQ map too, which is good news. The maxima one looks like its not the right one

Hi Matt and the team...
I think I extracted the same VQ map today using a Hex-editor and the location you supplied but I started with a fresh map and my modified one and the car still hesitates and splutters at around 3000 RPM with your VQ. I will post the logs and the modified map bin file below.
When you put you foot flat is starter spluttering immediately and wont rev past 2200rpm at part throttle i can get to around 2700 Rpm and at idle it will not rev part 3300rpm
But I have tried everything , I have read through all your documents a number of times and the document by the 300zx tuner, I don't have a clue what is causing this, I have traced the logs and examined and tested a number of times.
I have given high values on TTP max and TP I am not sure if this is correct but I have run out of Idea's.

Hi again...
I forgot to add the following, I used my custom made VQ map this afternoon and the car did rev all the way to 7000rpm but it only did it twice , then refused to do it again.
I have attached those log files below, Also Matt how do you work out what the MAX HP value on a MAF? because in these logs it seems I am maxing my MAF again at 6500 rpm
and lets say the MAF is good for 250hp the that would be around 200rwkw but then my Injector would max out

Just looking at it now...
TTP min/max look in reverse order on this ECU. Its the way its been posted on the forums before how it should be. But it looks backwards to me. I'll double check but I believe they are the other way around
You shouldnt need to change these normally. Injecton adjustment will change them for you anyway
CA18 has shorter tables (less space on chip to fit maps?) which are 8 long instead of 16 long with most other Nissan ECUs. The scaling doesnt match the 8 long and should be doubled effectively. I'll have to tweak the tables based on modified length in these cases
Anyway the main thing is increase your TP Load limit. This is basically a boost cut table as it limits over boosting. Setting to 255 should solve your problem in the interim. You are getting TP cutting out which is why you can rev to where you expect
