*** Help Needed *** With new set-up

Post by Ashley »

Hi Nistune Team

After all the problems I had with the pathfinder MAF

I just went out an bought a N62 300ZX MAF and 440cc GTR injectors, I have installed all the goodies in the cars and after changing the K value and all that she runs fine.

But If I try to get the AFR correct things just go wrong, If I set it to 14.7 at Idle then its close to 17 - 18 AFR at 3000RPM If i set it to 14.7 at 3000RPM at light load then she runs extremely rich at Idle like in the 10-11 AFR range at idle

If I change the injector latency then the whole map goes wrong, These are Nissan 440cc injector from a GTR I have tried almost everything there are no boost leaks and the fuel pressure is fine.

Please any help will be appreciated

You will never get it spot on across the whole range. Set up the k multiplier as close as possible as per the instruction manual and then just set your tables to acheive desired A/F ratios with a wide band O2 sensor. Disregard the A/F ratios on the table as they are never going to be spot on.

Latency for those injectors are 1520 uS

Ok so there is no way I can get it to balanced out at 14.7 AFR through the whole range with the Map set to 14.7 AFR.

it has to be fine tunned on the fuel map

I am using the 1540 Injector latency

your narrow band can fix up the idle and off boost if you set it correctly
