255 whp/249 ft.lbs supercharged KA24DE
I tuned a S14 240sx KA24DE last month to 255 whp and 249 ft.lbs at 10 psi on an Eaton M62 supercharger. Pretty fun setup for the street. All using Nistune, 480cc injectors, Q45 mass air...supercharger kits available at http://www.ka24der.com Here's the video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rFtpXsthZ...

Re: S14 KA24DE won't start now...starter or hardware problem?
Well it ended up being the starter. I probed both the big 12v terminal on the starter post as well as the 12v coming from the harness that activates the solenoind...both were functioning as normal (permanent 12v on one and 12v when turning the key on the other) but the starter still wouldn't spin ov...

S14 KA24DE won't start now...starter or hardware problem?
I've had some miscellaneous issues leading up to which I'll get to below, but as of tonight, I can't connect to Consult via Nistune nor will my car start (starter won't even turn over). Car has been running on Nistune for a little over a year and is my daily driver. Setup is a 1995 240sx KA24DE (M62...

Re: s14 ka software help
are you using an adapter harness to mate up your S13 ECU to a S14 engine harness?

Re: S14 KA24DE fuel enrichment under throttle stab/crank enrich
Matt, thanks...I adjusted the "crank enrich offset" table just like you mentioned and that seemed to make the biggest difference...car starts up and stabilizes idle without having to keep my foot on the pedal...not sure if I fully understand the "increase fuel" table fully yet bu...

S14 KA24DE fuel enrichment under throttle stab/crank enrich
Car is a 1995 240sx KA24DE. For the most part, I would say that my car/setup is tuned pretty good (idles good, partial throttle is smooth, WOT is dead nuts on)...there's just a few small things or annoyances I'm trying to fine tune. The list is below. 1) fuel enrichment under acceleration - let's sa...

Re: Steady State Dyno Tuning
but Nistune seems to always immediately crash when making changes to active Are you saying the application dies or you get a disconnection? If there is too much electrical noise on the line it will hose the consult connection, as PL mentioned this can be rectified by securing grounds and getting ri...

Re: Intake Air Temp Sensor
The main problem I can see is that if your fitting isn't insulated somehow from the manifold then you'll be measuring inlet manifold temperature more than inlet air temp. The actual sensing element seems like it's insulated/isolated from the rest of the housing..it protrudes out and sits right unde...

Intake Air Temp Sensor
Just was curious if anybody had some data on how accurate the stock 240sx IAT sensors are? I have a supercharged KA24DE and wanted to get some empirical data about the air temps going into the head with the M62 supercharger. I noticed Nistune logs that parameter and I think it could be quite useful....

Steady State Dyno Tuning
Just was wondering how many people were able to successfully make changes on the fly to the timing and fuel maps under WOT steady state dyno tuning? I've tried several times highlighting the 4 active/interpolated cells that the car resides at during "steady state" and then hitting the + or...

Re: A few noobish Qs (rb20 ecu/rb25de head/rb30)
I'm probably coming in a bit late here, but just for the benefit of others who may be reading this - the important thing with setting your timing is that what you read from the ECU (ie: in NIStune) matches what you read with the timing light. If it doesn't then move the CAS until it does. That's it...

Re: Recorded injector pulse width >> TTPMAX
TTPMAX table should actually be reading about 3x the currently displayed amount. I've made that change to the software for next release Does the TTPMax table need to have the y-axis max value changed? Using the most recent software release (0.9.14.10.1b), the graph is showing a max of 22ms....where...

Re: S13 SR20DET (red top) problems.
did you try setting the K value at partial throttle/low load in 3rd or 4th gear to achieve stoich 14.7:1 afrs but without 02 feedback enabled? that should be your starting point for getting the K value right...also, make sure to set TTPmin to 0 and TTPMax to the highest values in all cells temporari...
