DLP A/D freezes system 0.10.13R
The DLP A/D is causing my laptop (Win XP) to freeze, requiring a hard shutdown, while connected to 10.13R for a random amount of time, usually within a few minutes. I searched "DLP freeze" and found a few mentions of similar issue but nothing relating to a solution. Any ideas?
Thanks
Matt

Re: Datalogging 10 bit stream
Hi Matt, http://www.arduino.cc is the link. It's an open source prototyping microcontroller w/analog and digital in that converts to serial USB etc. It's very popular and common. Can be purchased at many electronic shops, even radio shak for around $25. I thought that it may be a viable alternative ...

Datalogging 10 bit stream
I have made using an Arduino board something very similar to the DLP A/D unit and would like to log data. 0-5v analog in, with respective 10 bit 0-1023 output. I tried connecting it like an Innovate (which also puts out 10 bit) and it doesn't connect. Is this possible or does something have to be co...

Re: S14 KA24DE fuel enrichment under throttle stab/crank enrich
Matt, I first found out about it here: http://www.ka-t.org/forums/viewtopic.php?p=297783&sid=959dd8368b0e086f23c85afbcb111e7f And yes it is in the Tunerpro XDF.. it's called "0230 - TP Accel Enrichment." From my testing it seems to affect TP, and thus AFR, everywhere but off idle. Any ...

Re: S14 KA24DE fuel enrichment under throttle stab/crank enrich
OP: I've also been working on fixing the rich tip-in on an S13 KA24DE with 370cc injectors. FWIW, "Increase Fuel" didn't change AFRs at all. What did make a difference was an address that isn't included in the standard file @ 0230. It has something to do with actual TPS voltage enrichment ...

Re: Throttle Tip-in
Hi Matt thanks for the reply. For what it's worth, I have tried putting all 0's and 255's in "increase fuel" @0200 to effectively disable the TPS trigger and it doesn't seem to change observed AFR's for fast WOT movement. The 0230 table is interesting though and has direct affect. Not sure...

Re: Throttle Tip-in
In the current address file there is "increase fuel" at 0200 and "throttle open offset" at 00A0. I have a rich tip-in after resizing injectors and tried playing with these tables with no change. After reading this: http://www.ka-t.org/forums/viewtopic.php?p=297783&sid=959dd83...

Throttle Tip-in
Just wondering if anyone knows which map controls throttle tip in on an S13 KA24DE? I've tried "throttle open offset" 00A0 and it doesn't seem to change anything. Heard rumors of 0230 altering TP upon throttle movement but am not too sure how to add that into the address file. Thanks.

Re: Nistune 0.9.14.9b Test Release + ROM Image pack 2.2
Sorry to bug you Matt again on S13 KA24DE,
TTPmin and TTPmax are different than last release.. unless it's just me!
edit - TTPmax still at 03A0, TTPmin used to be at H0390 and is now at 0A00. Is there a reason for this? Thanks.

Thanks for the reply Matt.
The code modification you speak of, would that be inside the bin?

Disable VSS Feedback?
Trying to run without the speed sensor on a S13 KA24DE here.
Just wondering if it is possible to disable the ECU from looking for a speed signal from the VSS?
If not, is it possible to have DTC codes reset on startup or something of the like?
Thanks

Re: Running without closed loop
Fordy - The top screenshot is open loop, O2 feedback bit unchecked and fuel maps set to 0 raw. Bottom shot is same setup with 02 on. With the LC1 unit I have control over the simulated O2 signal... Hypothetically speaking, I guess I could trim the rich/lean voltages to something more close together;...

Re: Running without closed loop
The lambda voltage in the screenshot ranges from 0.04v - 0.95v. That seems about normal?
It's a simulated narrowband signal from an Innovate LC1 unit.
