Re: Newbie - SR20DET (mild build) S14

That is because the MAF is upgraded but the injectors are not. So 65535 is the most you can increase K constant, to get it to where you see in the fuel map Your only option for now is to rescale all maps with load indexes to around 70-80 depending on full boost load figures, to get full usage of the...

Re: Newbie - SR20DET (mild build) S14

Your board is feature pack 2.1 so uses a Latency Table instead of the single latency. You want about 800uS at 14v and then the rest of the table to reflect this. So not what is done in the last tune you posted, but raise the whole table up until 14V column shows 800uS Also the TIM adjustment made yo...

Re: Closed Loop Load and RPM Scales

The RPM and TP load scales reference a table in ECU memory which keeps track of the trims. When the K constant is adjusted in the ECU, it changes where the ECU references this table. So for example if you change to Z32 MAF, then the TP may be doubled for example and scales normally doubled also In t...

Re: Newbie - SR20DET (mild build) S14

With those deutchworks (drilled OEM injectors) I would work around 800uS - 850uS starting latency Usually we do the MAF adjustment first (to increase K constant, and that will adjust the maps for load upto the maximum range of that MAF ~350rwkw) and then resize injectors (in your case no changes her...

Re: s13 ca18det FP1 launch control switch input

The problem is not only that I lost any idle adjustment, but I also had to depin the wire from the maf calibration to pin 37 on the ecu to force 0v when I dont want LC to be active, as any voltage greater than 0.5v is taken as LC on. It doesnt matter if it is 1v or 10v. I have a 10k ohm resistor to...

Re: s13 ca18det FP1 launch control switch input

I've checked the code and we changed the MAF calibration, but I'll have to investigate further if that is tied to the switch (it isn't for EDM and JDM models, but the 44Fxx model does) Are you saying if you adjust the MAF screw it is affecting mixtures at idle? rem Adjust MAF TP calibration from 12V...

Re: Website email fixed

There was a problem for several days where your host provider (hostgator) changed the DNS settings for our site without telling us. Of course it was Christmas period and we didn't know until a few days later and had to fix it up. The gmail address is used to process the website email as Microsoft em...

Re: Nistune will not open after update

I'll have to retry this on a Win7 Virtual machine. We did testing on a clean windows 10 and it needed the 2015 C++ Redistributable. There appears to be some Microsoft specific error with your laptop and that package from Microsoft The other error is strange, as from Windows Vista, the {app} folder s...

Re: injector and maf change

It will be a 'theoretical' calculation only So you can adjust from old MAF to current MAF, and it will use the new calibration curve, and an estimated K constant adjustment based on flow change between MAFs Similar with injectors, change from old CC to new CC, and percentage adjustment to TIM / K co...

Re: Vg30e Launch Control

Might need to check your ECU part number

Z31 26Pxx model has the following code lines instead. See attachments

2F37/2F38 is what we need to adjust (there is a 0x8000 offset from AF37/AF38)

Re: Phantom AACV activation

Did some digging. Looks like target idle activation. RPM drops to 875 rpm which matches 50degC and then it kicks in to bring the RPMs high (a bit on the high side)

Re: hi! from a newbie in canada. rb25det neo, in 240sx

Nice pics!

I've just written in the other thread in this Type 3/4/5 area about TPS idle. Have a read of that. Basically make sure TPS is not undershooting on decel and then returning to TPS value above this after undershoot.

So lowest recorded TPS value is the new 'TPS idle' value

Re: Start tuning SR20DET

TPS could be an issue. When you crank, it records the TPS voltage (for idle position). If your TPS opens and then closes, and goes below this value (undershoot), then a new idle TPS position is recorded. We have seen some cases where if TPS snaps shut, it undershoots and returns after to 'normal' po...

Re: Vg30e Launch Control

We can update the ENT file and 'hard patch' the ECU code changing addresses: Hex: 0200 value: A9CF: 02 A9D0: 00 Lowering this say by half (0100) will result in shorter cuts. FYI Trying to patch the code otherwise would be a bit complicated. You could try the hex editor built in Display > Hex Editor ...
