The HP figures are approximate (further K adjustment may be required). I've tested a bunch on the dyno
J30 VG30DE MAF (should be E60)
This seems to get K in the closest area of the ones you have listed so would be better than the Z32. Just check you have the correct part number there

For the production period of Infinity J30 were used all together 3 different MAF's:

1/ 01.92 / 07.95 - 22680-30P00
2/ 07.95 / ... - 22680-31U00
3/ 22680-31U00 is also interchangeable with 22680-31U05

The first one says N62 on it?! I thought there is a separate listing for the N62 MAF under Z32 DETT: http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-KxO7DnXWFp8/U ... 00/009.JPG

The second one says E60 on it: http://img576.imageshack.us/img576/6049/31u00.jpg

And the third one says E61: http://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/MTIwMFgxNjAw/$(KGrHqJHJ!sE63KsneNuBO6dyPODUw~~60_35.JPG

So which one do I need actually need?

Thank you
Matt

I'm not sure which image that VQ came from now. The ones which I looked up VE30DE use the same MAF as the HCR32/M30 etc

Damn... So there is a MAF which is appropriate from my setup, but we don't know where exactly it comes from.
Why is this MAF in the drop-down menu then?

Because it was identified in a previous BIN file but I dont know where it was originally from now since its been years since those got put in the drop list

Next recommendation would be the A32 MAF

This seems to have the issue partially fixed.

Matt,

This MAF:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/89-94-Nissan-Ma ... cd&vxp=mtr

Is it supported by nistune and included in the Change MAF drop-down menu?
Thanks

Because it will be really hard to find/buy such MAF in Europe, I wanted to make sure I won't waste my money.
Will let you know in case such MAF does not work with the J30 VQ.

J30 VG30DE MAF (should be E60)
Well that one is the N60 MAF which would be compatible with VG30DE. The proper way to tell is look at ECUs

23710-97Exx / 23710-17Yxx and see if the N60 MAFs are used with those ECUs. Would need Nissan FAST to look up part#s and years

The 22680 16V00 MAF is used in the following applications:

INFINITI M30 F31 08.1989 - 12.1991 (US)
MAXIMA J30 08.1988 - 02.1994 (CA)
MAXIMA J30 08.1988 - 02.1994 (US)
MAXIMA J30 12.1988 - 06.1994 (EL)

Below are the ECU P/N used by the respective application:
F31 US 23710-F6610 23710-F6670
J30 CA 23710-86E70 (23710-98E71); 23710-98E70 (23710-98E71); 23710-98E71; 23710-87E70; 23710-87E70; 23710-7E201; 23710-7E310
J30 US 23710-86E10 (23710-98E11); 23710-98E10 (23710-98E11); 23710-98E11; 23710-87E10; 23710-7E001; 23710-7E300
J30 EL 23710-91E10 (23710-91E11); 23710-91E11

None of the above matches the P/N you provided?
23710-97Exx / 23710-17Yxx and see if the N60 MAFs are used with those ECUs. Would need Nissan FAST to look up part#s and years

Yes it does: 23710-97Exx (the xx is a wildcard)

J30_VE30DE_97E10_AT / J30_VE30DE_97E60_MT

So that MAF will work fine since I have the VQ map from these ECUs in the list already

OK, you should be right. Will give it a try.
