I was experimenting with this on Z31 VG30ET but without good result.

I was using HKS VPC with Z32TT Eprom but signal wasnt perfect.

If you want use MAP correctly and if you want maximum result use some ECU which support MAP sensor at all. Haltech or better.

when I was looking at the VPC logs the signals were all over the place and the car did not drive well as a result. Usually Z32 AFM is a good choice for the VL turbo ECU once over 200rwkw

I was afraid of that  where does everybody put their AFM? I have mine after the IC .I dont think there would enough room to fit the bigger Z32 into the piping without it being outside the engine bay (would have to go under the drivers guard).Would it hurt to put it pre turbo as its bigger and wouldnt max out like standard one does?

Thanks Ratta

I was thinking of putting the AFM in before the turbo to try it out

It works fine after the intercooler, I have a pipe going into the plenum and it goes in there, using silicone + clamps. My problem is that the AFM is getting a rusty film on it after the turbo so not sure whats going on there

I try to put pressure in a Z32 afm to test if there's leaks in my piping, and around 14 psi, there's a joint (close afm connector, around a square plate) which can't resist and a leak appear. So i think afm can't work in pressure.

Yea, I have my z32 afm before the turbo as well.
I have read mixed reviews about placing on the charge side of the system.

A video of my setup (not so good vid/sound quality)

and a pic of my setup right after I dropped the motor in and got it running...
